Fishing on Luma Island can be frustrating if you don’t know where to fish and what bait to use. Luckily, this list will give you all of the currently known Fishing locations, which can be helpful when searching for specific items. With these locations, you can easily find the right place to conduct business and focus on mini-games. Here are the locations of all the fish and what bait to use.

All Fish Locations

Each area on Luma Island has about three fish that you can see and catch. However, there is also one additional lower class aquatic creature that you can fish for. Each requires a specific type of bait, so make sure you bring the appropriate bait. Here are the fish locations and bait choices:

City

• penny herring
  • Fish from the two piers west of the City
  • Preferred Bait: Copper Bait and Caterpillars
• Silver Snapper
  • Fish from: Waters south of the City
  • Preferred Bait: Copper Bait and Caterpillars
• Gold Plated Bass
  • Fishing from: At the mouth of the river that flows in the center of the City
  • Preferred Bait: Copper Bait and Caterpillars
• Jellyfish (lower class)
  • Fished from: Any body of water in the City

• Shrimp (lower grade)
  • Fished from: Land near water in the City
  • Preferred Bait: Use the Net

Forest

  • Fished from: Any body of water on Mt

  • Fished from: Land near water on Mt

Forest

Notes: The lower class fish are invisible, so you have to cast the bait blindly in the designated location.

Tips for Fishing

• Most fish are visible except the lower class fish. You may be in the wrong place if you are looking for a particular fish and can’t find it at your current location.
• Cast your bait as close as possible to the fish you want to catch.
