In Assassin’s Creed Shadows Quest “Heads Will Roll,” you play as Naoe, who needs to make a difficult choice. Both choices will affect the results in the next search. This is all you need to know about both choices.

Should you side with Yaya or Mitsumune?

At the end of the search for “heads will roll”, you must choose between “justice must be served” or “kill them not justice” to soldiers to be executed. Your choice in the search will affect Yaya’s recruitment later in the game. There are three opportunities to recruit Yaya: One in the head will roll up the quest and two in the search for “The Stray Dogs”. You need to get two of the three dialogue options to be in harmony with forgiveness to recruit it. Better to start earlier than to mess up the choice later in the game.

Options #1: Justice must be served (side with Mitsumune)

If you choose the “justice must be served”, Yaya will be angry with you. In this scenario, you will choose to side with Mitsumune, and the soldier will be executed. It should be noted, however, that the cruel end of the choice is the choice of canon in the story. Fortunately, you still have 2 more opportunities in the search for “The Stray Dogs” to recruit Yaya by choosing a peaceful dialogue option. Note: If you use this route, you must be sure not to feel the opportunity given in the search for “The Stray Dogs”.

Options #2: Killing them is not justice (side with yaya)

You get Yaya’s approval if you choose the “Killing them not justice” option. Execution will still occur, but it will be easier to recruit Yaya in the search for “The Stray Dogs”. You must choose only one peaceful dialogue option in the search for “The Stray Dogs” to recruit it.
