Overwatch 2 takes you back in time with Overwatch: Classic. Classic Mode is a limited time event that allows players to experience supervise exactly as it was at launch in May 2016, bringing back the original gameplay and balance. Here’s everything you can expect with Overwatch: Classic.

Overwatch: Classic Details

Overwatch: Classic is available from November 12 to December 2. The developers have previously stated that they want to bring back the original 6v6 format in Overwatch 2, but Classic is not part of those plans. Classic will just be a limited time event to feel nostalgic and play the game as it was when it was launched. This event does not require you to install anything as it is part of Overwatch 2, and you can find it in the Event Hub.

Original Abilities

Classic Mode will restore Heroes’ original abilities, some of which haven’t been seen in years. Each Hero can increase his Ultimate ability more quickly in this Mode. In addition to the abilities, there will be a No Limit Heroes in Mode rule for the first few days of the event, meaning all players can choose the same heroes to play in matches. The original 4 classes have also been brought back. Here are all the heroes available in Classic Mode:
