Since Black Ops 6 Zombies was released, players have noticed a lot of major issues with Manglers in the game. The following are some common problems that occur with Manglers.
Cannon Tracking
Manglers are known to have powerful arm cannons which are identified as their greatest weapon, and their most obvious weak point. While the cannon blasts from Manglers don’t do too much damage at first, they can become quite large in later rounds. And it wouldn’t be such a big deal if the blast didn’t also track players after they were fired.
Cannon Blast Affects Other Zombies
In Black Ops 6 Zombies, the Mangler cannon not only affects the player — but also other zombies. This can be used to the player’s advantage, but can also prove frustrating at times. Of course, you can use cannon blasts as a quick escape when trapped by hordes of zombies. But for those who like seeing large hordes of zombies following them to get Critical Kills or multi-kills, they will find it frustrating when Mangler blows them up instead.
Spawning Rate
Initially, Mangler was seen in limited numbers, with waves in previous rounds only featuring one or two. But this special enemy becomes too common in later rounds. Treyarch needs to take quick action to quickly change the Mangler spawn rate, or risk Black Ops 6 Zombies being remembered as a hell filled with unbalanced Manglers.
Bullet Sponge
One of the most frustrating issues with Manglers in Black Ops 6 is that, in later rounds, they end up taking a lot of damage before going down — even when using Tier 3 Pack-a-Punch weapons. Therefore, players have to rely on the Napalm Burst Ammo Mod to targeting Mangler’s weaknesses. Aiming at the Mangler’s head or arm cannons is a great weak spot to exploit.

The last thing a player wants in a high spin in Black Ops 6 Zombies is to encounter a large number of special zombies that not only fire cannons that track the player but also absorb a lot of damage before being knocked out.
