The third installment of the franchise was officially announced in November 2024, roughly two years after the second film premiered.
Jack Thorne returned to write the script while Harry Bradbeer, who directed the first two parts, did not. Instead, British filmmaker Philip Barantini directed all three sequels.

Enola Holmes 3 will stream exclusively on Netflix. Like its predecessor, the third part will be available to stream immediately.

The third film follows Enola as she prepares for her upcoming wedding to Lord Tewkesbury in Malta.
However, his plans changed when his older brother, Sherlock, was suddenly kidnapped. As he investigates the disappearance, he becomes entangled in a darker and more complicated web of mystery.
The franchise is based on The Enola Holmes Mysterya series of novels written by Nancy Springer. While the film is not directly based on a single book, its basic premise resembles that of the third entry, The Case of the Strange Bouquet.
Although the novel also focuses on Enola and Tewkesbury’s relationship, the main mystery revolves around the disappearance of Dr. Watson.

Although Netflix has not officially announced a fourth series, the franchise could easily continue. With eleven installments in the Springer book series, there is plenty of source material for a fourth film.
During the interview with Digital SpyingBrown spoke possibility Enola Holmes 4admitted he would if Netflix was interested.
