A confrontation between a old man and a bunch young woman on a California hiking trail has turned into one of the newest on the internet The “Male Karen” Debate.
A virus TikTok Videos shows one of the women spraying the man bear spray after accusing the group of feeling threatened by his behavior.
While some viewers believe that the woman played a role self defenseothers argued the man was gone when he was sprayed.

According to one of the women, she and five friends were hiking to celebrate a birthday when the elderly man asked them about where they had parked their car.
He claimed there were no “No Parking” signs visible and there were other vehicles parked in the same area.
The woman said the man criticized the group, spoke aggressively, and continued to be confrontational even after they told her they were leaving.
The viral video started after the argument had already started.

In the recording, the man wearing a backpack and holding a fishing pole walks towards one of the women while pointing the fishing rod at her.
Believing that another friend was about to be confronted, a woman took the bear spray she had brought with her for the wildlife refuge and sprayed him.
The man immediately backed away from the spray, moved forward again for a moment, then backed away.

In a follow-up TikTok, one of the women said the group brought bear spray because they planned to hike in an area with lots of wild animals.
She also claimed that the man repeatedly intruded into their personal space during the confrontation.
According to him, the meeting did not end after they left.
She accused the man of following their vehicle and throwing objects at it as they drove away.
The group later filed a police report, adding that they believed the act was carried out in self-defense.
He also claimed the man later gave a different version to police.
Authorities have not publicly announced any findings about the incident.

The video was quickly filled with thousands of comments from people with opposing views.
“It was a blatant attack. He didn’t even walk towards the girl. I hope he presses charges and we get to see him crying in the booking photo,” one person wrote.
A former police officer also expressed a similar opinion.
“As a former police officer, he could be charged with assault, and depending on his age, the charges could increase if it was an assault on a senior. While he was childish, he also completely removed himself from the situation.”

However, other people feel differently.
“These young women repeatedly told him to leave, but he refused to listen. They persisted and used pepper spray to protect themselves after he ignored their repeated requests,” one viewer argued.

In June 2026, father Tyler Brodsky went viral after another man confronted him for taking his two young daughters into the women’s restroom at an Alabama gas station.
As reported by Bored Panda, Brodsky explained that the women’s restroom was empty and he felt safer than taking his daughter to the men’s restroom.
The confrontation was caught on video after the man called police.
Officers then arrived, de-escalated the situation, and allowed Brodsky to continue on his way.
This incident has again sparked online debate, but the impact is not only on social media.
According to People, the man Brodsky confronted was later fired by the Mississippi real estate company where he worked.
The father then launched a petition calling for more family toilets in public places so parents don’t have to make similar decisions in the future.
Another widely shared “Male Karen” video reappear this year from UK metro stations.
The clip shows a young man refusing to move away from an 8-year-old woman who tries to pass him on the stairs.
When she told him her age, he replied, “Okay. So?”

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
